Wireless control of fixed-installation VHFradio
The HS40 handset offers remote control of your RS40 fixed-installation VHF radio. Make calls, scroll through channels, and quickly initiate DSC distress functions from anywhere on the boat. With the HS40 handset you have maximum transmit power and all the functionality of fixed-installation VHF radios, but with the convenience and portability of a portable system.
Communication anywhere on board
With a range of up to 100 meters, the HS40 handset offers complete coverage on board, even on larger vessels. One or more HS40 handset(s) and the RS40 base station can also be used together as an onboard intercom system, enabling clear communication between crew members deployed on the vessel.
Designed for real-world conditions
The HS40 handset features IPX7-grade waterproofing and uses an inductive charging system, with no exposed power connectors, for maximum protection from the elements. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of use, ensuring maximum freedom of movement within the boat.
