Kun puhumme perämoottoreista , viittaamme erikoismoottoreihin, jotka asennetaan veneen "kyljen" yli, usein pienten ja keskisuurten alusten peräpeiliin. Perämoottorit ovat erityisen käteviä joissakin tapauksissa, koska ne eivät vaadi erillistä säilytystilaa, ne kuluttavat vähemmän polttoainetta ja ne on helppo vaihtaa. Perämoottorien lisäksi tämä osio sisältää myös kaikki näiden moottoreiden lisävarusteet aluksen täydentämiseksi.
