Nautical VHF Plastimo SX-400

It is waterproof and buoyant

The waterproof protection of this nautical VHF meets IPX7 requirements. The VHF radio is submersible to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. In addition, when equipped with the original battery and accessories, belt clip and antenna, the radio will float in fresh and salt water.

If third-party battery, belt clip and antenna are used, the radio may sink.

Flashing alarm

In case of falling into water, the radio floats, sounding an audible alarm and automatically activating a flashing alarm.

Thanks to the flashing LED light, the radio can be easily retrieved to be used for ongoing rescue. This function is active even when the radio is turned off.
