The slender shaft of the Tyrnos A Stand-Up features great power, properly regulated by the Shimano Twist Control system that dramatically reduces the risk of rod twist. Lighter models of the Tyrnos Stand-Ups are fitted with heavy duty ALPS rings with SIC stones that dissipate the heat generated by the running of the line, while heavier models come with Pacific Bay rollers. The rod components are complemented by a sturdy aluminum reel seat.
