The shaft is made of IM24T high-modulus carbon, produced using MLS - Multi Layer Structure technology, a special manufacturing process that assembles carbon fibers of various modulus in different directions to achieve extra fast action. All of this increases power and torsional strength of the rod while simultaneously reducing the overall weight. In this project, the biggest challenge was to make a very stiff and sensitive rod while keeping the cost of the blank low.
