The system operates with external batteries , allowing the electrical system to be configured based on range requirements and sailing profile. The electronic power management is progressive and precise, useful both during port maneuvers and when cruising at constant speed, reducing vibrations and noise on board.
The Cruise 10.0 is ideal as a main engine on electrified boats or sailboats requiring reliable propulsion for maneuvering, harbor entry, and coastal cruising. Its quiet operation improves comfort and facilitates communication during maneuvers.
As with all electrical systems, performance and range depend on the capacity of the installed batteries, the load, and operating conditions . Installation requires careful planning of the on-board electrical system.

Torqeedo Cruise engines are the premium electric choice for powerboats, tenders, dinghies and commercial applications . The Cruise 10.0 T takes this philosophy to the highest level of power. The Cruise 10.0 T is a 48-volt electric outboard, equivalent to 20 horsepower , ideal for:
- vessels up to 10 tons
- work boats, taxi boats and large pleasure boats

Important note: With just one Power 48-5000 battery, the motor power is limited to 6 kW . For full performance, we recommend using two Power 48-5000 batteries . If you want to use the Cruise 10.0 with more than two Power 48-5000 batteries , please contact an authorized Torqeedo dealer.
