The Torqeedo Power 48-5000 is a high-performance lithium battery designed to power Torqeedo electric propulsion systems on medium-sized boats. It is intended for applications requiring long range, reliability, and integration with sophisticated onboard electrical systems.
The battery has a capacity of 5,000 Wh and a nominal voltage of 44.4 V , and is equipped with an integrated management system that protects against overload, short circuit, deep discharge, reverse polarity, and overheating. The structure is waterproof with an IP67 protection rating , suitable for marine environments.
It is designed to be recharged even during system operation , including solar charging, making it suitable for continuous use and installations aimed at energy autonomy. Integration with Torqeedo systems occurs via a dedicated communication link.
