Product Details
Description
Magnum high-performance open-field radars extend range and bring radar images of small targets to Raymarine multifunction navigation displays. Utilizing many of the same radar technologies used by the U.S. Coast Guard, Magnum enhances target tracking and reliable performance, all packaged in a sleek, pedestal-mounted open array built to withstand the elements.
Main features
Magnum is available in 4 kW or 12 kW power outputs, with a 1.31 m or 1.92 m antenna. The 12 kW models have a maximum range of 96 NM, ideal for offshore vessels, while the 4 kW models have a maximum range of 72 NM. The ideal companion to Raymarine's award-winning Axiom® and Axiom Pro multifunction navigation displays with LightHouse 3, Magnum is also backward compatible with previous models, including:
- Multifunction displays with LightHouse 2 series a, c, e, eS and gS
- C-Series Widescreen and E-Series Widescreen Multifunction Displays
- Classic E series, G series multifunction displays.
Note: Not all Magnum features are available on legacy displays.
Improved Bird Mode
Building on Raymarine's already exceptional bird identification technology, we've further enhanced Magnum's Bird Mode to locate birds with greater clarity out to 10 NM. By identifying flocks of birds with Magnum, deep-sea anglers can find young baitfish faster and with less fuel consumption.
Enhanced radar images
Magnum radar also features Raymarine beam sharpening technology, delivering better than 1° of resolution for finer target separation, chart-like coastal detail and superior long-range performance.
Best target tracking
Magnum offers greater situational awareness with fully automatic MARPA target acquisition and tracking. Magnum also uses Raymarine Evolution 9-axis heading sensor technology to create accurate, real-time target graphics.
True Trails
Magnum features True Trails target history. The True Trails feature allows you to see a historical "trail" behind each moving contact. This additional information makes it even easier to interpret the movements of other vessels and make intelligent maneuvering decisions to safely pass.
Real-time route updates
Connect Magnum with Axiom and LightHouse 3 to get uninterrupted radar target images as you change course. Real-time course updates allow the radar position display to rotate freely, without having to refresh the entire view.
