Intuitive user interface and backlit display

The IC-M423GE features Icom's proven Marine Family User Interface , designed for simple and intuitive use. The rotary selector and directional pad provide quick access to key functions.

The high-contrast LCD display with white backlighting and laser-cut keypad integrate perfectly with the design of modern boats, ensuring excellent readability in all lighting conditions.

Active noise cancellation

Integrated Active Noise Cancelling technology ensures high performance, reducing background noise by up to 90% when receiving and up to 30% when transmitting . The result is clearer and more intelligible communication even in noisy marine environments.

Powerful 10W audio, Public Address and Foghorn

The IC-M423GE features a built-in 10W amplifier to drive an external PA speaker. The Public Address function allows you to make voice announcements via the microphone, while the Foghorn function allows you to emit fog horn signals via the external speaker.

Integrated Class D DSC

The Class D DSC system constantly monitors channel 70 even while receiving other channels. DSC functions include: Distress , individual and group calls, All Ships , Urgency, Safety, Position Request and Send, Polling, and DSC test calls.

Integrated GPS receiver

The built-in GPS receiver displays position, date and time and provides the data needed for DSC calls. The GPS source can be selected between an internal receiver or an external GPS .

GPS antenna supplied

The supplied GPS antenna enables reliable satellite signal reception and is designed for easy integration into the on-board system.

Optional backlit CommandMic™

The optional COMMANDMIC™ HM-195GB/GW , with white backlighting, allows you to control all IC-M423GE functions from a separate booth or tower. It can also be used as an intercom with the main unit.

AIS Target Call with MA-510TR / MA-500TR

By connecting an optional MA-510TR or MA-500TR Class B AIS transponder , the AIS Target Call function allows you to make an individual DSC call directly to the AIS target, without having to manually enter the MMSI number.
