Description
Clean install for consoles with limited space
The IC-M410BB is a Black Box marine VHF with CommandMic™ , designed for installations where space on the bridge is limited. All operations, including DSC functions, are managed directly from the HM-195 CommandMic™ , while the RF unit can be installed in a hidden position.
The main unit can be installed up to 18.3 m (60 ft) away from the CommandMic™, providing maximum installation flexibility. * Two optional OPC-1541 cables are required for 60 ft installation.
Up to two stations on board
The IC-M410BB supports up to two CommandMic™ stations , allowing full access to VHF and Intercom functions from different locations on board, such as the cockpit, tower or secondary bridge.
NMEA 2000™ and NMEA 0183-HS connectivity
NMEA 2000™ connectivity enables plug-and-play communication with other onboard marine equipment, such as Multi-Function Displays (MFDs) . The radio can share GNSS (GPS) position data, DSC calls, and radio channel information, ensuring seamless integration into the vessel's navigation system.
Active noise cancellation
Active Noise Cancelling technology digitally eliminates background noise in both transmission and reception, ensuring clear and intelligible communications even in particularly noisy marine environments, without the need to speak loudly into the microphone.
Integrated Class D DSC with Distress button
The integrated Class D DSC system allows, via the DISTRESS button, the immediate sending of a digital distress call to the Coast Guard and other vessels. The DSC Watch function constantly monitors channel 70 , increasing the level of safety while navigating.
15W Unidirectional RX Hailer
The IC-M410BB integrates a 15W amplifier (13W for the European version) for connection of an optional SP-37 external hailer speaker . The RX Hailer function allows you to listen to radio traffic on the bridge or tower via the external speaker, in addition to the ability to output foghorn signals .
