Description
The Torqeedo 12/24 V Charging Cable is a charging cable designed to charge the batteries of the new generation Torqeedo Travel, Travel XP and Ultralight electric motors directly from a 12 V or 24 V power source . It is intended to integrate charging into the on-board electrical system.
The cable allows charging from a suitably protected external source, with a nominal voltage of 13.8 V. The battery integrates undervoltage protection that starts charging only above a certain threshold and automatically interrupts it when the voltage drops below the expected limits, helping to preserve the battery itself.
Use is recommended in port or at a mooring, connecting the cable to a stable and properly sized source. It is important that the source is not deeply discharged and that it is protected by an adequate fuse. Charging in vehicles with the engine running is not permitted.
The cable is approximately 2 meters long and is compatible with Torqeedo 1166-00, 1167-00, and 1423-00 batteries . It is recommended to update the battery software using the TorqView app before use.
