Description
The Torqeedo Fin is a protective fin designed for the Torqeedo Travel, Travel XP, and Travel Ultralight electric motors. Its purpose is to reduce the risk of damage to the motor's lower case if it contacts the seabed while cruising in shallow water or approaching shore.
The fin acts as a lower protection element, helping to limit the direct impact of the engine on the bottom in shallow water, sand, or gravel. It is particularly useful on tenders, small boats, and vessels frequently used in coastal, lagoon, or inland areas.
It is compatible with Travel engines with part numbers 1160-00 to 1165-00 and 1421-00 and integrates with the engine system without requiring any structural modifications. Installation is carried out following the instructions in the original engine operating manual.
The use of the fin does not replace attention to water depth, but represents a useful support for the protection of the engine in delicate operating conditions .
