Description

In this case, the design studio leaves the naturalistic pattern of imitations of colors or shapes similar to the real thing, and goes in search of new profiles and surfaces that are functional to the movement you want the artificial to have in the water. In what, then, does all this innovation consist? In the use of a simple shape but one that has involved more than two years of study and testing to place it correctly and have it create complex forces during swimming that cause surprising actions: a hole. A simple hole, however, that involves an important innovation in the world of lures. A hole that obviously generates vibrations that are different from normal and that, for this reason, are perceived by fish more effectively and that causes very interesting behaviors in the water that are difficult to compare with any other popper on the market. A designer can immediately imagine what importance and what forces are generated with the very presence of the anomaly of a hole in the back of the model. These forces are created by the particular, asymmetrical shape of the surfaces that create the hole and interrupt the threads of water that normally adhere to the sides and body of the artificial during retrieval. In order to properly design the surfaces, particularly those in the area around the hole, let's call it the "hole chamber," we decided to use programs dedicated to structural mechanics and fluid dynamics that offered us the possibility of simulating various configurations related to the structural behavior of the artificial. In fact, the two asymmetrical side flares serve to channel more air and water into the area in question and, in cooperation with the curved striking surfaces, create friction in the back of the artificial and interact continuously in the swimming of the model. We could simplify the action as a brake that among other things generates a characteristic "shudder" at regular intervals during the retrieving action that is really very interesting. In addition to this, the lure once it enters the water accumulates, just inside the hole, an air bubble that lightens the backside favoring its initial wagging. By subsequently jerking energetically, the artificial creates a tube of bubbles, which is dispersed in the water, definitely superior to that formed by normal poppers, both because of the presence of the surplus of air retained by the hole and, above all, because of the strong turbulence created inside the complex system of the "hole chamber." Another feature caused by the rear brake, reviewed earlier, is the immediate stopping of the artificial when the angler stops the retrieve. The lure stops as if during a video break! A total absence of draft. In general, the artificial can be described as a popper "swimmer that during the retrieving action automatically enters and exits the water without any special rod action on the part of the angler. Recovered linearly, or alternating with short or long jerk strokes, it creates a truly impressive underwater tube of bubbles interspersed with a characteristic "shudder" of the lure that independently enters vibration at regular intervals. The Toto is also perfect when used in jerks from a standstill to break the surface and create large splashes on the water. Launch? Far out. Regarding the bore chamber, which undoubtedly characterizes the whole aesthetics of the lure, specific metallic, but non-reflective colorations were chosen to create a shiny/matte alternation during swimming that has seemed to give excellent results in fishing. In the transparent models, this different brightness is caused by rhythmic flashes due to the different angles of the metallic inner foil during the lure's rolling action. Because of the special resistance of the anchors, it is especially dedicated to greenhouse, leer and amberjack, but in general to all fish of the Mediterranean belt such as barracuda and medium-sized tunnids. The Toto 131 has through-weave and the design is registered at the European level
