Description

Recently, Airrus began devising some prototypes, built from the base of a new type of pre-preg with unusual characteristics. Indeed, the tests carried out immediately gave surprising results in terms of the lightness of carbon fiber blanks, their tensile strength and compressive strength. This new type of pre-preg bases its efficiency on a polyacrylonitrile resin that optimizes the characteristics of carbon once it is compacted on the mold and brought to optimum temperature. Airrus has named it "Magma Polymer Technology."
The Airrus Bora is a rod designed with an oversized multimodular radial blank, designed to deform minimally in the blank segment from the grip to the first ring. This expedient limits energy dissipation with the ferrata, and significantly reduces tip wobble after casting, optimizing tip distance and accuracy. The middle part and the tip react differently, with a progression under stress, which decreases as the load on the rod increases, giving the tool great strength to drag the prey, without sacrificing the loading phase of the cast and the subsequent thrust. The through-hole reel seat uses a totally exposed reel seat with the X-Concept logo to maximize sensitivity through direct hand/carbon contact. The "splitted" handle design, has been revised and improved, reducing weight and increasing leverage.
The AIRrus Bora is the first saltwater spinning rod to use the new Fuji FaZLite rings, featuring a blue-colored stone with very high strength and excellent heat-holding capabilities. The ring bridge, coated with Frosted White treatment, is model K specifically to prevent thread tangles when using braid and casting upwind, or with lures reaching high speeds during casting. (Fuji FazLite guides with anti tangle frame). This ring also includes the new CC corrosion control treatment.
The Bora series includes models suitable for various sea spinning applications, such as long jerk, metal jig, popper and wtd.
