VICTRON MULTIPLUS Combined Battery Charger + Inverter System
The system combines a pure sine wave inverter with a sophisticated battery charger with adaptive charging technology. Two AC outputs. In case of power failure from the dock or generator, the device takes over in inverter mode to power what is connected, without discontinuity.

Appliances that could discharge the battery, see water heater, should be connected to this output.
Parallel + three-phase function. Up to 6 apparatuses can be connected in parallel. It is possible to connect 3 units of the same type for 3-phase current. Up to 6 sets of 3 units can be paralleled.
Powercontrol: the multiplus is very powerful and can draw a lot of power from the dock or generator. With the multicontrol panel (14.270.32), the absorbed power can be kept under control by setting a maximum limit. The multiplus, given the set limit, will use only the remaining power to charge the batteries.
Power assist: if peak power is required for a short period, the multiplus will compensate for insufficient power by drawing power from the battery. When the load is reduced, the excess power will be used to recharge the batteries.
The microprocessor-controlled charger has a 4-stage bulk-absorption-floot-storage type Phoenix/Skylla charger.
