Linear mechanical actuators Raymarine, the most widely used for sailboats, are powerful, quiet and have optimum rudder movement speed. Mounted below deck, they move the rudder shaft directly by acting on the prepared arm (installation recommended) or on the sector. The linear actuator connects to the rudder shaft via an independent arm. Some accessories may need to be obtained from the manufacturer of the wheelhouse for installation. It is necessary for the wheelhouse to be able to be retrofitted from the rudder.
