Description
Get short- and long-range vision with a single compact Dome antenna
Ideal for coastal navigation of small boats and fishing boats, the HALO20+ radar comes with a compact Dome antenna that offers high-quality short-, medium-, and long-range detection. It simultaneously monitors two distances in Dual Range mode to keep an eye on distant storm cells and monitor close collision hazards. Pulse compression technology does not compromise in detecting any distance, and beam narrowing provides better separation between distant or small targets.
Maximum visibility to avoid collisions
The HALO20+ radar performs a full 360-degree scan every second using an industry-leading 60 rpm rotation mechanism for distances up to 1.5 nautical miles. These ultra-fast updates provide a near real-time view at close range, the best solution for avoiding collisions with fast-moving obstacles.
Built-in VelocityTrack™ Dopplertechnology
VelocityTrack™ technology provides instant visual feedback on approaching or receding targets. Simple color coding highlights potential hazards and risks for better knowledge of the surroundings and to further reduce the risk of collision. The HALO20+ radar automatically monitors every obstacle in its range, with no need to manually select targets one by one and no maximum number of obstacles that can be displayed on the screen at the same time.
Always ready to use
The HALO20+ radar instantly activates from low-power standby mode, providing high-speed radar coverage exactly when and where required. Even when the HALO20+ radar is off, it starts up in a matter of seconds, unlike conventional pulse radars that take several minutes. Whether navigating in busy waters or in low visibility conditions, the HALO20+ radar immediately scans the surrounding area to provide a crisp, up-to-date image.
Easy to use
Bird mode offers fishermen the ability to detect the trail left by fish in range. In addition, Harbour, Offshore, Weather and Custom modes fine-tune the HALO20+ radar's advanced signal processing to ensure a crisp view of targets, even in the harshest environmental conditions.
