Optics
These binoculars are made using compact and lightweight roof prisms. Because of them, Levenhuk Monaco ED 8x32 binoculars are more compact than the classic Porro models, but offer an image of equal if not higher quality. All optical elements are made of special ED glass with extra-low dispersion that eliminates optical aberrations and provides a sharp, contrasty and detailed image. The multilayer coating eliminates glare (reflection of internal light) and increases image brightness in low light conditions (sunset, low clouds, hours before sunrise). The eyepieces are composed of five elements. Their improved design allows you to receive a better quality image and enjoy your observations. Levenhuk Monaco 8x32 presents natural color rendition and transmits sharp contours of objects without optical aberrations!
Body Material
The optical elements are housed in a durable plastic body, which is resistant to accidental shocks, falling to the ground from low height, rain, must, dust and other problems that may occur during a camping or traveling trip. Their hermetic design can protect the binoculars even when submerged in water up to 1.5 m (5 feet) for no more than three minutes. Levenhuk Monaco ED 8x32 prevents fogging of the lenses. The binoculars are filled with nitrogen, a harmless, colorless, odorless gas that prevents fogging of the lenses during abrupt temperature changes.
