The Discovery Night BL20 Binocular Night Viewer has a built-in Wi-Fi module useful for controlling the device remotely via smartphone or tablet. Thanks to the new image intensifier, a night viewer and a classic binocular for daytime use are merged in this instrument. The Discovery Night BL20 is a great choice for multi-day hikes, night hunting, land defense, orienteering, and more.
Visibility in total darkness: 250 meters
Fully-coated lenses with silicon dioxide anti-reflective coating provide vivid, high-contrast, distortion-free images. You can zoom in on the tiniest details. During the day, you can zoom in on any object placed beyond 3 meters, while at night you can view an area within a 250-meter radius. The built-in IR illuminator improves visibility in total darkness, ensuring that you remain hidden: invisible to those who have violated the boundaries of a protected area or to the wild animals you are hunting. The brightness of the infrared (IR) light can be adjusted to 7 levels. Note: During the day the image will be in color, while at night it will be in black and white.
Built-in recorder for capturing photos and videos
The instrument includes a recorder for taking photos and recording videos. The maximum resolution is 1280x960 pixels, and the frame rate is 30 fps. All photos are crystal clear and sharp, and videos are smooth and pleasant to watch. The image resolution can be adjusted if necessary (for example, to save space on the memory card). Images can be viewed directly on the binoculars' screen or transferred to an external device via USB connection.
Everything you need for field observation
The binoculars offer a firm grip; the control buttons are placed right under the user's fingers for maximum comfort, especially important during nighttime observations. The body is waterproof and resistant to dust and dirt. A standard set of batteries is the best alternative to a mains rechargeable battery: the batteries are easier to replace in the field, should they run out. The batteries provide a range of 4 to 10 hours (depending on the intensity of the IR light). A small tripod is included in the kit, allowing the binoculars to be placed anywhere for more comfortable observations
Remote control via Wi-Fi
The outstanding feature of this binocular night viewer is the built-in Wi-Fi module with remote control function (signal reception range is about 15 meters). You can download the "NV Plus" mobile app to change night vision settings, view movies on smartphones or tablets, take photos and record videos, and download or delete files. The app is available for iOS or Android.
