The Discovery Night BL10 is binocular night viewer with digital image intensifier that is practical for use in various light conditions. It features photo and video capture functions and also comes with a small tabletop tripod for making field observations with greater convenience. This viewer is useful for night hunting, allows you to ensure the safety of an encampment during a hike, and is an excellent choice for exploring new territory. Since the Discovery Night BL10 is a 2-in-1 instrument, you can use it not only at night, but also during the day as a regular binocular!
Detection range: 250 meters in total darkness
The optics with fully coated anti-reflective coating and silicon dioxide coating reproduce crystal-clear, high-contrast images. The instrument transmits light effectively and, in daytime, can clearly show any object placed beyond 3 meters. The field of view at night is 250 meters. It is recommended to turn on the built-in IR illumination to improve one's visibility while remaining hidden from other people's view and undetected even by the most timid wild animals. The brightness of the infrared (IR) light is adjustable to 7 levels. Please note that the image reproduced by the instrument during the day is in color, while at night it is in black and white.
Built-in recorder for capturing photos and videos
The instrument stores photos and video recordings on a memory card. You can choose the image resolution: 1280x960 pixels is the maximum resolution. The frame rate is the classic 30 fps, which helps videos appear smoother and more visually pleasing. You do not need to transmit the movies to your PC, just view them directly on the screen. Use the USB connection to transfer data to external storage.

When you are in the field, it is of particular importance to have instrumentation you can rely on. The body of the Discovery Night BL10 is waterproof and the viewer provides a firm grip; the control buttons are right under the user's fingers. The instrument is intuitive and easy to use. The instrument is powered by standard batteries and has a battery life of 4 to 10 hours of continuous recording (depending on the intensity of the IR illuminator). Included in the package is a small folding tripod, which stabilizes the viewer for distortion-free image capture.
