Description

It is the first reel to use our temperature-controlled system (TCS), which uses a combination of an Air Spool fan and titanium washers to help cool the clutch system during use. When a clutch becomes overheated, it can affect negatively on its operation and also greatly reduce its life, but with TCS you maintain a cool clutch and consistent performance. This system can offer a heat reduction of up to 30 percent compared to traditionally designed coils with metal washers. As if that were not enough, the reel is virtually bomb-proof when it comes to saltwater resistance: it has no less than five of our Hydro Seals, designed to prevent water ingress and give the reels a longer life, which is backed by an international IPX6 ingress protection rating.
