Legio Aurea Genius Scipionis 10.63 gr. fishing jig

The Legio Aurea Genius Scipionis jig is a jig with unique technical features. The guard is made to be virtually invisible. It has fewer bristles than any other guard, but thicker and more transparent, for optimal and more natural presentation when the jig is motionless, especially in clear water, or with bass subjected to great fishing pressure, accustomed to seeing jigs with black filaments. In addition to this, the guard is not arranged in the shape of a rectangle like all classic guards but in a U-shape to protect the hook tip laterally when the jig goes over the obstacle vertically and swings down leaving the barb area uncovered. The skirt of the Genius Scipionis is handtied and compact to allow freedom of action for trailer baits. The custom hook is chemically sharpened with a wire made not to open up even when using large diameter wire and optimally positioned with respect to the guard for effective ferration.
