Complete System Group for Medium Capacity This complete package includes everything you need to create an autopilot system Simrad for inboard (inboard/outboard) or outboard boats with hydraulic steering up to 10 m (35 ft). The RPU-80 reversible hydraulic pump handles cylinder displacement of 80-250 cm³ and is driven by the NAC-2 compatible autopilot computer. This package includes the Precision-9 solid-state compass, as well as all cables and connectors required to create an NMEA 2000® network backbone or to connect the autopilot system to an existing NMEA 2000® network. Ease of installation and configuration Our Virtual Rudder Feedback technology eliminates the need for rudder feedback units on board many vessels, greatly simplifying installation. AP44 offers automatic tuning to ensure optimal self-steering performance, all with a simple on-screen commissioning process that includes dock setup and sea trial. Once the autopilot system is running, the included Precision-9 heading angle sensor performs automatic compass calibration to continuously fine-tune heading while underway. AP44 Autopilot Controller The AP44 autopilot controller features a color display, intuitive knob-and-button controls, and a glass dashboard with a modern design. With this dedicated control that simplifies access to automatic tacking patterns, No Drift steering, DCT (Depth Contour Tracking) steering, and other advanced steering settings, you can leave the helm and sail in peace while discovering new ways to fish. In addition, by connecting the chartplotter, you can add waypoints or a navigation route and enjoy full autopilot control from compatible Simrad displays.
