Thanks to this special design, the position of the switch is immediately detected without the need for the visual organ. The porthole and body are coated with thermoplastic rubber to prolong its durability and limit impact noise when used for fishing. These ergonomic features are a big advantage over round-section aluminum flashlights that give no feedback on the position of the handle and in some cases even require two-handed use to turn on. The switch has three positions: off, on unstable with automatic return, on. The "on unstable" position is particularly useful in fishing because it allows flashing with a simple press. The strap with spring-loaded slider allows adjustment according to the user's need, but being elastic it can be slipped off in case of emergency. Power is provided by 4 AA "Stylus" batteries either alkaline or rechargeable. The electronics ensure a constant level of brightness even when the batteries are rechargeable and/or not perfectly charged.
