Victron isolation autotransformer
It is a special transformer with a single winding equipped with intermediate sockets. It greatly reduces homic losses and eliminates the problem of insulation between windings but primary and secondary are not insulated (unlike the normal transformer).
Description
It is often used to increase or decrease the voltage in the 110/120 range in the 220/240 range for example, providing 120 V starting from 240 V, allowing 120 V equipment to be used with 240 V voltage.
