The Ray90 has a black box design that conceals a transceiver, while the ergonomic RayMic handset and remote speaker allow full control of the radio with crystal-clear audio. In addition to being a complete VHF radio system, the Ray91 also integrates an AIS receiver. The Ray91 can receive navigation and safety transmissions from nearby AIS-equipped vessels and share them with compatible multifunction displays, Chartplotters, radars and instruments. Simply enter your boat's MMSI number during setup to be ready to set sail. The optional passive GA150 GPS antenna is required for GPS operation. The Ray91 also has a receiver with a built-in automatic identification system (AIS). AIS-equipped vessels can be easily identified with their name, heading, speed, CPA and other travel information. Position Monitoring Use the Ray90's position monitoring function to keep an eye on up to 5 nearby DSC-equipped vessels. Their positions are automatically shared with the Raymarine multifunction display. Keep an eye on other vessels cruising with you, monitor vessels of interest, or manage your local fleet. In Europe, the Ray91 supports ATIS on navigable inland waterways. Megaphone The Ray90's built-in megaphone will let you be heard on deck and in port. Plug in the optional fog horn and make your presence known with 30 watts of audio output, plus two-way talkback. When the fog thickens, the megaphone can also be set to automatically emit fog signals aimed at incoming vessels and at anchor. Waterproof and durable The Ray90 transceiver is made of solid aluminum for shock and vibration resistance and maximum heat dissipation. RayMic handsets feature razor-sharp backlighting for easy viewing in all conditions, while large buttons provide a secure grip with easy access to commonly used functions.
