Ocean Signal EPIRB3
Ocean Signal's EPIRB3 is a 406MHz global distress beacon equipped with a hand release bracket. The EPIRB3 offers a number of features in a modern and compact design, including AIS technology, which provides local rescuers with accurate and reliable information on the location of the person in distress, thus expediting rescue. In addition, the Return Link Service (RLS) confirms receipt of the distress message.
Near Field Communication (NFC) allows the use of a smartphone app to monitor the EPIRB's battery and other functions, ensuring its proper operation. Compliant with IMO RESOLUTION MSC.471(101) and GMDSS, the product meets international maritime safety standards.
